Biography
Le Soldat Pony is an American singer, songwriter, & multi-instrumentalist who was active between 2011 and 2015. She released three albums, a B-sides compilation, a live album, and a number of singles, before quietly retiring in early 2015. While her official accounts have since been deactivated, her music has been archived by her fans.
She would later return under a new name, howndstooth, and released her new album, new moons, on August 22, 2021.
Le Soldat Pony briefly collaborated with fellow musician And The Rainfall under the name Tecolotl.
This message was in the description of Le Soldat Pony's Bandcamp page at one point:
"I like giving out music for free, I truly do, especially to you wonderful people who care enough to come here and look for it. But I can only give out 200 free downloads per month, so if you want music after that (or just want to donate to a good cause) then the money is much appreciated, as well."
Later on, nearer to her Bandcamp being deleted, this message was in the description:
"Everything's free. If you can't download it, my giveaways have run out, so I apologize in advance."
