“Strike (Holster)" is a single by Lil Yachty. It was first previewed by his sister, Nina Simone in December 2022. The snippet was popularized partly because of his sister’s singing along with the song, especially in the beginning of the first verse:
"I’m puttin' crushed ice in my soda
Perky got it stuck, like a holster, uh"
Nina’s singing along was met with mixed reactions, however, professional basketball player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander previewed the beginning of the song without Nina’s voice on February 9, 2023.
The song would later be released on April 7, 2023.
