LinQ is a Japanese pop idol group from the island of Kyushu. They are under the label T-Palette Records. The group's name comes from the phrase "Love in Kyushu".
LinQ was formed in March 2011 with forty-two girls from the island of Kyushu forming the first generation of the group. The audition for the group pulled in over 1,162 applicants for the first generation.
