Ever since this album was released, it has sounded like it came from the future. And that will never stop.

Great remix album! They really made good Hip Hop arrangements of the songs here!

I was never the biggest fan of Linkin Park, I liked them, as did anyone else who was into the whole rock-metal-post-hardcore scene, but they never truly stuck as anything special. Re-listening to their whole discoraphy, and after listening to a lot more genres and artists, I find this album incredible, waaaaaaaay ahead of its time, so creative, fun, and with some amazing bangers!

Never was a fan of LP, having a teenage short period of interest, just a lost cassette with random tracks from first albums. Never knew later that some tracks were taken from this release. Oddly enough I remembered them being different from original, and now browsing Linkin Park music again, I'm kinda surprised to discover all this and recall from the far past! This remix album is really something to pay attention to, most are way better than originals. Experiments and excellent quality.

It's so amazing to see how appreciated and loved this album is by so many fans in the last.fm community. I always had the impression I'm rather alone with this perception but I'm more than happy to see a lot of you are feeling the same while listening to Reanimation - the undisputed best remix album ever!

I would correct the last sentence to "Most of the mixes on here are even better than the already phenomenal originals."

this is the ultimate rock/metal remix album, which isnt really saying much considering how niche the concept is, but it proves that it can be done well

I think that most of the song versions that are on here are better than the Hybrid Theory album versions. I felt this way the first time I listened to it a really long time ago, and I still do. It sounds sort of timeless unlike HT that sounds more and more like just a product of its time. Hybrid Theory EP still sounds really damn good though.

the EP is underrated, its like every good thing about nu-metal wrapped into a little 20-odd minute package

Absolutely underrated, the atmosphere on it is so much more enveloping than anything LP released after that.

Easily the only one that really stood the test of time for me. While my 12 year old brain didn't fully absorb all this album had to offer when I bought it, I loved it then and I love it today. The mood / atmosphere of this record is just enormous. Also loved most of the DYI music videos fans made for each song for on this album. You can find them on youtube.

This album didn't deserve to be as reviled as it was when it came out. It's a perfect union between Hip Hop and Linkin Park's signature sound.

I really dislike the remixes albums, this is the only exception, a masterpiece. [2]

"Reanimation - единственное, из-за чего я слушаю эту группу до сих пор" - факт. Какими же нужно быть неискушёнными в музыке, чтобы заняться той буйнёй, которую Linkin Park записали после Reanimation?

"This is not simply a good listening, it's a trip into your own mind, an introspectional journey." <--- fact.

I've discovered a shit load of music since the days I was infatuated with Reanimation, but it had a major influence on the taste I have today. A good album to introduce one to experimental sounds, moody hip hop, epic atmospheres, and nice hints of electronica. I would love for someone to recommend me an album with similar vibes.

"...it's all around the best remix album I've ever heard so far." [3] But what they do know is complete shit=\
