I will always remember the day this album was out, i had it preordered and i was super hyped because of the singles, yet it still managed to exceed my expectations! Awesome album, will forever be among my favorites of theirs! R.I.P. Chester, forever missed :'(

This is actually my favorite Linkin Park album. In fact, it is so good that I don't want to hear it too often. Hence the low position in my Linkin Park charts.

I respect that The Hunting Party was the only one of their post-ATS albums where Mike didn't lead the production toward a trending style that was a couple years old (see electro-alt-rock on Living Things, dubstep on Recharged, and early 2010's pop on OML). I also love Rob's contribution to this album more than anything else. Still, I feel the output could have been better - the vocal production is not always the best, and it sometimes lacks cohesion and direction. It's my least-favorite but I still enjoy a majority of the songs.

They should've quit after this, the last album sucked, and this is one of their best!

it is alternative metal, far heavier than hard rock, this is probably their heaviest album, some of these riffs are great!!

Very fair, but I do think this is far more leaning towards Alt.Metal than Hard Rock.

Weird record. Started as some blend of hardcore punk and pop punk, turned into alternative metal and one song is almost System Of A Down. However, apart from all of this, this album is more complex, than Meteora itself (and Hybrid, obviously). More riffs. I remember the structure of the first two albums and it's less complex, than this album. After two so-so albums, this one is great.

Almost the last attempt by Chester Bennington. to meet the requirements of being a good vocalist and musician. When I listen to this music, I think he sounds very tired. An attempt to have the successes of the early years failed. He and his fellow musicians received bad reviews for this album

I understand you very well. I always play the hole discography from my favorite artists. There are also bands I start liking with their later works. For example 'The 69 Eyes'. First it was doom sound. Then they changed into Goth style and I became very happy and a big fan from them.

Acabei não dando muita atenção na época que saiu. Acho que essa foi a era mais apagada do LP, mas é um bom álbum.

I didn't really like it at first listen. Maybe cause I've been studying at the same time, LOL

I don't get why this is so underrated, this is definitely their best album outside Hybrid and Meteora. Mark The Graves, Keys To The Kingdom and most of all A Line In The Sand are among their overall best songs

The best album? No. The worst LP album. By far. [11] Eww, like WTF? Sounds like a garage band. You can go back to the 90's sound without sounding like a garage band, for god's sakes.

I consider this the second-best album by Linkin Park, only topped by the sheer ingenuity and amazing willingness to reconstruct themselves seen on A Thousand Suns.

The best album? No. The worst LP album. By far. [8] Singles are good, tho. But the rest is crap.
