Biography
Liquid Zen is essentially Roland St. John Perez, owner of Seventy Three Records. His first release was the self titled Liquid Zen, made for Waveform Records in 1998, then released in 1999. Since then Perez has produced several other cd's for the seventythreerecords.com label. They are Liquid Zen - Elements at Loop 10, Seventy Three - Seventy Three, Liquid Zen - Oscilloscope, Mosaico - Magic Midsummer, and ADAME - Echo Cielo. Songs are available on iTunes, Magnatune.com, or directly through seventythreerecords.com. His music has been described as down tempo electronic, but also extends boundries to rock, soul, IDM and experimental. The newest release… Oscilloscope is a dreamy landscape of synth textures with hypnotic grooves.
