Biography

Loren Battle was formed in January of 2004 by Rodney Manning, Keith Auzenne & present Drummer/Vocalist Ryan Mabee. The band first took the stage as a 4 piece punk/screamo group. Playing their hearts out with variety of acts in many different genres, the band knew they had something special. The band longed to further develop their sound and themselves as musicians. The band took to the studio to record what would be their first 5 song EP which was later released in July of 2005. Sadly, as Loren Battle was on the rise in the local scene, members would resign for personal reasons. They had to work endlessly to stay alive and today's present members chose to rebuild and press on.

The band still loves to play shows night after night. Each member believes that failure is not an option. The band has played with national acts such as Between The Buried and Me, The Human Abstract, God Forbid, Napalm Death, Kreator etc. They have also shared the stage wit local favorites who have become more popular that include: Job for a Cowboy, Eyes Set to Kill, Bless the fall and more.

Being almost 3 years since Loren Battle’s birth, the band has gone through it's fair share of trials and tribulations and believe it's time to rise nationally. The band has opened for many major metal/hardcore acts, as well as headlining many local metal shows. Loren Battle continues to recruit new fans with their growing talent, professionalism, and unique style. Staying true to their selfs and their way they write music continues to be what they stand for. Being connected to fans and other local bands is what keeps the drive behind the music. Loren Battle is surely an act you don't want to miss!
