Love American formed over the summer of 2010 in the high desert of southern California in what started out as a series of jam sessions between Adam Thomas (guitar), Hans Cruz (guitar) and Ryan Longmore (drums). They soon added Javier Ramirez (vocals) to the fold and spent the winter writing and recording their debut self-titled EP which was released in February of 2011. Six months and a rotating crew of bassists later they released a split EP with Ventura, California's Harbours.
