Biography
Lthrboots (Jerry G. Jones) delivers music in the EBM-Industrial-Darkwave-Electro-Goth genres. Lthrboots is often compared to NIN, Depeche Mode, Front Line Assembly, Suicide Commando, Combichrist and Nitzer Ebb. Onstage, Jerry plays keyboard, drums, and performs all vocals.
"My goal is to entertain the audience, to portray my music the way I wrote it and to connect with the audience through the lyrics. If I can connect in that way, then my goal is reached. I don't like labels confining me to one style, so I simply write music that emerges from my experiences with things in life. I usually stick to the Industrial genre, but sometimes my creations demand another genre and style. I don't want to be pigeon-holed into one style. It is too restrictive and dampers my creativity. What is created, is created. Why change the natural flow of things to suit someone else's likings?"
