Biography

For those of you looking for pop-punk heartthrobs from the other side of the Keystone State, the guys of Mace Ballard will convince even the most rooted of wallflowers to join the party. When the four dudes found each other in Pittsburgh, PA they knew something good was up, and now rock in and out of state on the regular.
They released their debut EP “Can't Build Something With Monologues” in 2009 with their second EP “The Time It Takes to Rewind” following close behind in 2010 after solidifying their line-up. Their full length album, set to come out in early 2011, has just recently gone into pre-production. Steve Soboslai (of the band Punchline and record label Modern Short Stories) took an interest in Mace Ballard and agreed to help them produce the record, which will be around 10 songs in length and feature hand-written gems like “Treasure Chest Target Practice.”
Fans of the band stay engaged because they're given something to engage with: diverse content and constant conversation. They open the dialogue and allow fans to immerse themselves as much as possible in the whole experience. And as for stereotypes, the only musical stereotype the guys of Mace Ballard worry about is what type of stereo you're listening to them on. They suggest something loud.
If you grew up on names like Bayside, Brand New, and New Found Glory, you'll want to get acquainted with these gents, and quickly.
