This is a case where I'm totally enthusiastic about the whole concept, but the execution more than often seems to be lacking the expected sophistication. Creative journey starting with Italian signature "fetishistic" brand of death industrial and later dwelling into the dark corners of decadent "crime jazz" sounds like an absolutely thrilling enterprise which could build a bridge between two aesthetic realms with a solid potential for being merged into a single exotic beast, predatory and seductive at the same time. It all looks marvellous on paper, but in practice... we have a few releases with "Corbelli-lite" type of "giallo electronics" interspersed with whatever-goes sample-based stuff (even some breakbeat tracks along the road), and we have a continuous stretch of "sedated cocktail-lounge jazz" records, slightly peppered with smoky noir ambiences and "pantie-sniffing weirdo" vocal delivery.

This paints a simplified picture, of course; most albums have their share of convincing moments & standout tracks, and as far as "noir jazz" goes - the band seems to be constantly working on improving their skills, reducing the reliance on samples and incorporating more live instruments to the mix, crafting their soundscapes with more attention to detail and advancing their immersive qualities. But still, there are plenty of yet unexplored methods which could enhance the band's creative vision. I think the decision to drop out the abrasive textures & industrial methodology to focus (almost) exclusively on that Bohren-esque type of cinematic jazz noir was questionable; how about introducing some of that Italian death industrial cadaveric poison into Bohren's glass of cheap bourbon? Why not? Giallo sleaze & morbid erotica + noir decadence & cold-blooded urban violence... I see zero reason not to try to make it work together.

And I don't mean "several releases in different styles". What I mean is: doomy, gloomy, crawling thriller-jazz instrumentals sonically enhanced by cold & menacing synthworks in the vein of "A Quiet Night Of Murder" or some other atmospheric pieces by Atrax Morgue. That would sound great.
