Biography
Musicians with more than 20 years of experience accompanying established artists of the Brazilian and international music, Madgator is formed by friendly old guys, who were playing together at the end of the 80's.
With the name "Alligator" they were showing up having an excellent return of the media and of public. After a great emotional stress caused by a bad contract that finished with not launch of his first album was necessary a time so that they could be re-structure their lives.
In this peroid they had contact with different musical cultures inside and out of the country, working with instrumental music, studio recordings, TV shows and musical productions.
After almost 18 years they decided to join his strength again to show a new and different proposal to a current scenery of the rock music, adding to his music the energy of the 70's, a high instrumental level without frontiers and several elements of the Brazilian music.
The band does a "New Classic Rock"… quite heavy!
Even before his 1sr CD "Madgator" recorded and finished in February of 2010 in the renowed studio Mr. Som, the band showed up in great festivals in Brazil, opening shows of Richie Kotzen, Tim Ripper Owens and like headliner in "Orquidea Rock Festival" a 3 days festival in Sta Catarína that counted also with Glenn Hughes like one of the headliners.
Facing their truth independent of the musical market and of the usual recepies of style or of season, the band Madgator follows their heart and their true roots inside the rock rewriting his history in 2010.
