"Broken" is a song by Madonna, written and produced by Madonna and Paul Oakenfold. The song was recorded in 2009 as a bonus track for her greatest hits compilation Celebration, but cut from the final track list.
The song leaked onto the internet in September 2010, with the original acoustic demo, possibly recorded already in 2007, leaked in April 2011.
In August 2011, it was announced on Madonna's official website that fans who had renewed their membership of Madonna's official fanclub, ICON, in 2010, would receive a limited edition 12" vinyl single of the song.
