Makell Bird is an all around entertainment entreprenuer. Born and raised in the Dirty South musical culture of metro Atlanta, he now resides in Sin City, where he has already established himself as “The Mixtape King of Las Vegas”.
Containing a myriad of accomplishments since his musical debut in 2000, Makell Bird’s track record as an independent label owner is something worth talking about. He has been featured in a variety of publications such as Las Vegas Weekly Magazine, Ozone Magazine (twice), and the cover of The Henry Herald Newspaper. Physical print aside, he’s also built a mammoth fanbase on the internet including being featured by imeem.com, defsounds.com, datpiff.com, popgoesthemusic.dada.net, whatsdamove.net, hiphopmagnet.com, doggfather.ru, gratox.com, mixtape-masters.com, kingd855.blogspot.com, hear-it-first.net, gossipmatrix.com, gossipthug.com, etc.
From his world famous Maktown Mixtapes to his astounding 4 million plays on myspace, he is leaving no stone unturned. Making his mark on the music business as the owner of what he calls a full circle entertainment company, his talents range from writing, rapping, and producing to acting as a marketing and promotion consultant for other artists.
