BIO MARCELO EZQUIAGA
Marcelo Ezquiaga es un musico nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina, pero tambien un viajero incansable. Inició su camino solista con el álbum “Un Buen pescador” (2009). y luego Hombre Golpe (2011) luego de varios años liderando la banda Mi tortuga montreux, con la cual edito "Mar del Plata en invierno" (2002), "Mapa" (2005) y "Mi Tortuga Montreux" (2006).
La canción es la protagonista de su obra. Sus discos son una exploracion constante e inquieta de los margenes del pop. Y las letras la forma de describir el mundo que nos rodea.
Durante su breve carrera ha girado por diversos escenarios como el Personal Fest, el Ciclo Nuevo, Estudio Abierto de Buenos Aires, BAFICI, escenarios de verano del Planetario y el Teatro ND Ateneo. Participo en compilados como Estudio Abierto. Ademas giro por Argentina, Uruguay, Chile y España.
Realizo la musica incidental de dos peliculas, Nadar solo (Ezequiel Acuña - 2003) y El sueño del perro (Paulo Pecora – 2009).
Descripción
Hago música para explicar el mundo que me rodea. Mi perpectiva esta en mi sonido. Las letras de mis canciones son mis palabras de todos los días y el piano, es mi historia y piel. Ese es el principio de mi sonido, a partir de ahi, todo es experimentación.

Marcelo Ezquiaga starts his solo career with "Un Buen Pescador" (2009). After several years ahead of Mi Tortuga Montreux, band with whom he released "Mar del Plata en invierno" (2002), "Mapa" (2005) and "Mi Tortuga Montreux" (2006). Even though the song genre is the main character of his work, and the lyrics essential part of what he wants to tell, his search is always flirting with de sound experimentation in relationship with song genre. This way, his albums are a constant exploration of the margins of this genre.
Durind his short career he played in most important stages of Buenos Aires like Personal Fest, Ciclo Nuevo, Estudio Abierto, BAFICI, Planetario and the Theatre ND Ateneo (where he officially presented his third record). He was part of compilations like Estudio Abierto. Made tours around Argentina (Mendoza, Cordoba, Rosario, Tucuman, Santiago del estero) and foreign countries such as Uruguay, or Spain where he made a tour in 2007 through Madrid, Andalucia, Canarias & Barcelona.
He composed the music for two films, Nadar Solo (2003) and "El sueño del perro" (2009) both prizewinners.
As producer, he organized seasons like "Oiga", "el primer beso" with distinguished artist of buenos aires music scene. In Studio he produced several albums, Rosal (popart music- Sony BMG), And Trebian. His video from the song Carne (2006) had a honorary mention in 2007 in FAVC (Argentinian Festival of song videos) and also many videos from his songs where screened in Paris, Italy, Bafici and Mar del Plata's Film Festival.
