Ho Hum Records are delighted to announce the release of ‘?’ and ‘The Hologram’ by seminal producer Mark Pritchard.
Since the last century Mark Pritchard has consistently released music of the highest quality in whatever form the he has felt fit. From the ambience of Global Communications to the techno of Link, the drum & bass of Vertigo, to hip hop exotica with Harmonic 33, to the funk of Troubleman, and more up to date Detroit techno/hop/step of Harmonic 313. Whilst the styles may vary, the quality is unwavering.
Currently used as the intro to the DMZ nights, ‘?’ is one of the deepest electronica pieces of music of modern times. Made in three days at the Ho Hum studio, Mala from DMZ was quick to cut ‘?’ to dub-plate and has been playing it out ever since.
‘The Hologram’ has more of the trademark mid-tempo feel which made Mark’s production assets such a commodity in the late-90s, although never quite has his mid-tempo reached the terrifying strength and darkness of this instant classic.
