Martin Bisi has been, in his words, a "performer, producer, Cultural Antagonist" since the early 80's when he was at the fore of the downtown NYC avant-rock scene. At a studio he started with Brian Eno, he has since realized classic albums by Sonic Youth, Swans, John Zorn, The Dresden Dolls, Foetus, Helmet, Boredoms, Herbie Hancock (Rockit), Serena Maneesh, Africa Bambaata, Material, White Zombie, Cop Shoot Cop, Michael Gira's Angels Of Light, Unsane and others. His latest release is a digital-only EP, Son Of A Gun, on Contraphonic records. The EP features guest appearances by Bill Laswell (on "Mile High- Apple Of My Eye"), Brian Viglione of The Dresden Dolls (on "Mile High-Formaldehyde"), and members of Fiery Furnaces, Balkan Beat Box, and World Inferno Friendship Society
