Biography
I'm the composer and artist Mattias Holmgren from Umeå, Sweden.
With my own company Morningdew Media I produce music and sound effects for computer games and the media industry (web).
Right now I'm writing the music for the upcoming games
LEGIO (XBOX 360/PC) and FURIAE(PC/mobil).

I begun my career as a drummer, and recorded my first album with Naglfar, called "Vittra" in 1995 as their drummer.
Since then I've released a bunch of albums including:

1997 - EMBARCING "Dreams left behind"
1998 - AZURE "Moonlight legend"
1999 - DARKSIDE COWBOYS "High"
2002 - Mattias Holmgren, TIRED TREE "Changing sides"
2004 - EMBRACING "I bear the burden of time", reissue with 5 bonustracks
2004 - EMBRACING "Dreams left behind", reissue with 5 bonustracks
2004 - AZURE "King of stars - bearer of dark"
2005 - Higher and Higher - Moody blues tribut album (features Tired Tree)
2002 my first solo album called TIRED TREE "Changing sides" was released by the french label Musea Records.
I joined SUPREME MAJESTY on keyboards in 2007, and played some gigs with them including Sweden Rock.
Currently writing on the third album for Embracing, called "Neptune". A really heavy production!
I've also decided to put together another soloalbum since I have too many unreleased songs right now.
It will be proggy, melodic, disharmonic, weird, flipped, some piano ballads, heavy songs etc.
