A purely instrumental album, recorded entirely using his personal Commodore Amiga that he had bought using his Bar Mitzvah money when he was a young boy.
In 2002, he wrote, " was helped along by all the insipid, samey rubbish that was flooding the shelves at the time of writing. I have always been far more inspired by stuff I can't stand than music I love."
"If I hear a record and enjoy it, I just sit there and get jealous and wonder how they did it– at the same time realizing that they did it so I don't need to do it. On the other hand, if something comes along that I don't enjoy, it fires me up. In between angry bursts of 'HOW DARE THEY HAVE A RECORD DEAL!' I get on with the task at hand. I guess you could say I was Bored of Canada! …Though they are by no means the worst offenders."
