Marlon Brando Coelho Couto Silva (born. February 5, 1999), better known by his stage name MC Poze do Rodo or simply MC Poze, is a Brazilian rapper and singer.
Marlon was born in the Community of Rodo, in Santa Cruz, in the West Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. He is known for his controversial lyrics, characteristic of the subtype known as "prohibition funk". The involvement in processes related to his participation with organizations linked to drug trafficking is a situation present in the singer's life story. Often, the fact that his lyrics contain apparent exaltations of the modus operandi of criminal factions is pointed out as problematic. The artist's replica usually revolves around the question of putting himself only as a vehicle that portrays the reality of the poor communities of Rio de Janeiro through music. MC Poze was earning over 200,000 per month in cache by mid-2021.
