The final (to date) official album by Mechanical Poet is based on Frank Herbert's science fiction novel Dune. The album features the only appearance of vocalist Vladimir Nasonov and some Alternative metal influence.
The album was followed by two more "unofficial" MP releases, or Lex Plotnikoff's side projects, Luna Damien and Hattifatteners, both featuring some of Mechanical Poet personel.
