I don't like this album as much as I used. to. The world needs a hero still has the moto psycho girls and promises.

An highly underrated album, honestly one of their better ones I'd say. It took a while to grow on me, but I find the songwriting unique and interesting, with plenty of variation (a virtue of the late 90's/early 2000's era of Megadeth that they've since lost, it seems). Risk was a bit of a detour, but I think this one carried off where Cryptic Writings started off with the mix of heavy with songs that made a movie in your head, with the little vignettes and all.

Megadeth's 2nd worst album behind Super Collider. Both albums show Mustaine's songwriting at its most tired and exhausted. Give me Risk any given day over both of these bland ass turds.

Al Pitreli kicks ass. Al played a She wolf solo for 19 minutes and 59 seconds in Argentina.

angela and kuroneko suck. Norma and Liu are better. Jeanne is the best looking.Tiffany, Irzeta and Carmen are awesome.

I seem to be one of the very few people who loves this album with the exception of the hilarious and awful "Moto Psycho."

2019 version is excellent! Lots of great songs on this one. I never owned the original, so is the new version just a remaster, or is it a remix? Anyway, it sounds great, so does the System Has Failed 2019 as well. I'm ordering the United Abominations, Endgame and Thirteen remasters as well.

I'd place it as my least favorite album, just because it is utterly forgettable. There are some songs I like, though (Burning Bridges and Losing My Senses). It also has some of their worst songs ever (looking at you, Moto Psycho) and parodies of themselves (Dread, trying to be Sweating Bullets pt. 2 and Return to Hangar, literally a parody of themselves). And no, this is not worst than Risk, because Risk is awesome haha

Dread is my favorite Megadeth song of all-time, I have nothing bad to say about it.

I remember buying this CD which also included a poster. I didn't like it very much except for a few tracks. To me this was almost worse than "Risk". I ultimately kept the poster and sold the CD. I think the impending break-up (at the time) was coloring this album, so to speak.
