Mercy Beach is making it’s mark as one of the most current and versatile alt-rock acts in the business. The band takes cues from their favorite groups such as Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, and The Pixies with their own talents shining through naturally. A penchant for clever turn of phrase, hooks galore, and an unrelenting back beat give the group a powerful stage presence no matter what the setting.
Mercy Beach has shared the stage with notable rock bands Fuel, Oleander, Trapt, Future Leaders of the World and has been on festivals with Sevendust, Asking Alexandria, Psychostick, Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace, and Pop Evil throughout the midwest. In 2013 Mercy Beach won the Flint, MI rock-radio station Banana 101.5's "Flint Town Throw-Down" to grab the #1 Song of the Year award with their local hit "My Pet Monster".
2015 has the group off to a raging start with the release of their first full length album 2:22 and a supporting music video for the haunting ballad “In Your Sights”. Coupled with the “My Pet Monster” video and a spot in an official GoPro Camera online ad, Mercy Beach is geared up to make a huge leap into the pubic consciousness across the Midwest and beyond.
