Michelle Chandler is an accomplished award winning songwriter and compelling performer. Australia’s Free Press reported, "Michelle Chandler's ability in song composition and her velvety voice make for breath-taking entertainment. It is the best original music I have heard in a long time."
An experienced musician, Michelle Chandler is known for her ability in lyric and music composition. She’s a skilled guitarist and gifted vocalist and has played many of the folk and music festivals and venues throughout Australia & the UK, in various line-ups and with many well-known artists.
Her recent UK Tour was a huge success with high praise from venue owners & audiences alike. “BRILLIANT performance at Cinnamon in Bridgnorth, you really created a buzz!” & “What a great performance, we’re looking forward to your next visit to the UK.” Plans are already underway for an extended international tour in 2010.
Michelle has now recorded five CD’s and is very excited to be performing songs from her latest release ‘Mohana’. She continues to perform with her band ‘the handful’, featuring multi-instrumentalist Sigi Gabrie on Slide, Harps, Flute, Clarinet & Saxophone, Max McIntosh on Bass, Mandolin & Backing Vocals & Nick Carrafa on Drums, Percussion & Backing Vocals.
