Usually, when the group is not yet known, people say "it has a lot of potential." I think that the group has long overcome this frontier, and just made cool music. But when Josh left, for me this group became like ... without teeth. I do not know what was the cause, but I hope he will return.

Should've just changed the name after he left. Can't get into anything past Vile Child.

I really love this band but I think it's time for them to stick to one kind of sound at once instead of releasing songs that sound like Green Day and Superheaven in the same EP. Both Be Nice and Go Away EPs have good songs but they feel disconnected in comparison to Sad Sack and Vile Child

Left as he wanted the band to go in a different direction, he wanted more shoegaze influenced guitars and less of a mainstream sound which they have on songs like Owning Your Okayness. Billy is a great replacement though, his old band Hindsights toured with Milk Teeth in the past and were great

Oh wow, that's interesting. Honestly the shoegaze stuff was my favourite element of their sound so I'm sad to see him go. Be Nice is a step in the wrong direction as far as I'm concerned - all the same, Billy has a better voice.

You're right, it does not matter. Modern bands interpret changing genres. It is difficult to determine a specific orientation level by tags. :)
