Biography
Formed on July 2007 by José Raimundo, João Proença and Pedro Mateus, Million Dollar Lips presented their first single ‘Single Round’. On that same year, they started to play the first shows all over Portugal. On April 2009 they released their debut album ‘Lust’, produced by Marc Requile (Vive la Fête and Evil Superstars).
Influenced by several musical genres, classical to electronic, 80’s to 2000, they created a unique sound within the Electro-Pop scene.
After the release, ‘Lust’ played on several radio stations in Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium and Brazil, the band performed on some of the most important halls and festivals in Portugal and conquered a place on the Portuguese music scene.
MDL are now releasing a new EP, that will be included in their second album, which will be released in the beginning of 2013.
