German based duo Mind One has spent the last few months in their studio working on new tracks and remixes. As always it was important to them to create the significant Mind One Sound. This claim is impressively proofed by their new single 'Hurt Of Intention' which arose in collaboration with the the newcomer singer Rebekka Thenu. Groovy beats in a combination with an exceptional voice, a lush bassline and powerful melodies manufacture a sound that can't be fixed to just one musical direction. This mixture fascinates in clubs as well as on the radio.
Productions and remixes of Mind One can be found in the record cases and charts of the global players like Tiësto or Paul van Dyk and on big compilations like Sensation White by IDT or the Dream Dance series just to name a few. They are signed to international labels in UK, Japan, Spain and other countries. Mind One's 'Star For Me' became one of the biggest hits 2003. Remixes for York, DJ Sammy, Kay Stone among others continue their success in a striking way.
Mind One is Matthias Max and Sascha Lais. Matthias is a talented producer and Sascha a DJ to the bone. Besides they are members of the rising german music label Superstreem Records and they have co-founded Breeze Records which has achieved to build up a good reputation in 2005. In the project Mind One Sascha and Matthias join their abilities and take fans of electronic music on a higher level. This has been already shown in the best german clubs and international radio stations like Ministry of Sound and Sunshine Live.
They first met in a club in Frankfurt/Germany where Sascha was playing a gig. After a few words they found out that they share a lot of opinions and ideas. A friendship and cooperation had begun.
Matthias and Sascha have started their individual musical careers already in their childhood. Matthias' father runs a music store and is a member of several bands. Learning instruments like the guitar, the drums and the keyboard was not taken for granted in the first years but soon he recognized the value of it all. Influenced by the dance-hype in the early 90's, Matthias started to get interested in electronic music and bought his first synthesizer.
Sascha Lais began his musical career with DJing. Now 12 years later he is able to bring every crowd to the boil and play powerful sets combined with own productions. He has been moderating internet and radio station shows with listeners worldwide. In the famous Technoclub he rocked the dance floor as resident DJ and was constantly invited as a guest at Germany's biggest dance radio station Sunshine Live.
The Duo lives and produces in the area of Stuttgart/Germany.
