Biography

The project Mind-járt was formed in 2005. Since then, there are 5 albums (Mind-járt, Mont-no-no, Szárnyaló állomások, Séta lámpafényben, On d' Róud Egejn) under this name. The project is made by Gaspar Baksa, living in Budapest (Hungary). The preceding name for Gaspar's work, Mindkiller, was used from 1998 to 2004. The project was started in Novi Sad (Vojvodina), with PC setup. The first album (1998) was electronic sounding made mostly with ReBirth.

The second album (1999) was noise inspired, with highly saturated frequencies. In 1999 Gaspar moved to Hungary, and worked with Vrhovny on projects Großturwaller Muzikanten, BBF, PIT until 2000. The next 2 Mindkiller albums (2000, 2001) had more and more live content, and clearer sound. Next came the fruitful period of Sampler-Synth-Sequencer setup (két és fél, R.E.M.-Xes, Ad-Wice, Ben Garbo, 2003, Mouth Healer, Hullámok (EP), Utca (EP), 2004, Civil Horizont, Gödör-2004.05, Mouth-healer) with concentration mostly on melodic themes.

All of the Mindkiller releases can be found at CyberfArts' Last.FM page: http://www.last.fm/music/mindkiller/+albums Mind-járt's musical releases were a change of language orientation, now all the songs titled on Hungarian, the sound now spiced up with occasional vocals and lead guitars. The production method and the musical style stayed more or less the same as the later Mindkiller albums.
