Biography
MiseryFields started in 2008 with the release of the demo, Bugs in the Spice Cabinet (also known as, "Bugs"). Bugs was intended to be a metaphorical bug in the spice cabinet of modern music. Unfortunately, it was not well received. Because of this, Bugs is now considered a rarity and is no longer sold.
The second album, Contravance, was released in 2010, with a second disc of b-sides in the pre-order package. The music was recorded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in Isaac De King's home. The vocals were recorded in Blackheath, New South Wales, in Australia, in Gelfling Studios. With the release of Contravance, MiseryFields' fan base began to grow, although it was still limited.
MiseryFields is currently in the writing process for the third, self-titled album, MiseryFields, which is to be released some time in 2012.
MiseryFields is always looking for more members, but unfortunately, has yet to find anyone willing or able to play his style of progressive metal.
If you would like to purchase Contravance, or would like to join the machine that is MiseryFields, contact Isaac De King at ildeking@yahoo.com for arrangements.
