graves and danzig both rule, and hey, i even love jerry, now, back to what i was gonna say, this album kicks ass and every song sorta sounds the same but thats misfits for you. none the less, amazing record, a 10 in my eyes, and i listen to it all the time.

No way! This is their last worthwhile effort, and still not quite as good as the Danzig era stuff.

The cover of this album reminds me the cover of "The Pre-Fix of Death" by Necro in some ways.

I like how they added a bit of metal to their sound during the Graves era. Good album.

Listened to this for the first time in 10 years of liking the misfits as "it was not Danzig, therefore not misfit"...wish i listened to it along time ago, so good!

Definitely not the best album but by far not the worst. Avoid anything past the graves era like the plague.

Agreed. I enjoy the Graves stuff a lot. I listen to it equal amount to the Danzig stuff. I really like Graves voice. His solo stuff is pretty great. Especially butcher shop.

Never understood why people hated him so much. He's a magnificent singer and a talented and very skilled musician. I mean, he inspired a ton of other enjoyable bands during his time with Misfits too. Danzig is equally important.

This is a good album. It might be a little silly, but it's some fun horror pop-punk, nothing wrong with lightening up a little. I say this even if Static Age is my fav album of all-time.

I'm a huge Misfits fan, and yes, I prefer Danzig albums. But all in all, this album is still good. And so is Famous Monsters. I don't think Graves can fit the shoes that Danzig wore, but he can certainly get his own shoes and still kickass.

Graves was a fantastic songwriter and singer. Maybe they should have been named something else, but 98% of you would have done the same thing in Jerry's position. And you know what, they released two AMAZING albums with Graves. Their output since Graves left, on the other hand...

The problem is that this isn't The Misfits. It's like Joy Division continuing without Ian Curtis, it should have never happened. Those dudes had sense to call it quits and rename their project something else, unlike Jerry Only who had to piggyback the shit him AND Danzig started because he couldn't come up with something different to do.

"I don't understand the hate for the Graves-era of Misfits." Me either. In fact, I really like his voice. :/
