Many people played this song but it sounds different to everyone that played it which happens with many songs which has a different feeling who ever plays it. I happen to like this track & i like the way Muddy Waters does Hoochie Coochie Man but maybe someone else would like it by someone else. Willie Dixon wrote Little Red Rooster but Howlin Wolf sure mastered that song but i also like it by Dixon & I'm not 100% sure but i think Dixon wrote it for Wolf........I think not sure.

to those asking - this is older than johnson's Come on in my kitchen. Several of Robert Johnson's songs turn out to recycle older blues and even spiritual melodies, a fact often missed by people who start their exploration of the early blues with him and don't get far enough further - which just goes to show Delta blues was still a folk, not pop, form and does nothing to diminish RJ's significance as an artist.

Yes and there's an extra measure breaking each 8, with the little runs thrown in.

Yeah and "Things About Comin' My Way" (I'm not sure about the composer but I know Tampa Red's version) and in a way, "You Gotta Move" are similar to this.

Without those boys, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, the Stones, Bobby Dylan....and all the other guys and bands (whose music we like) were unkown or not existing.... Thanks Sheiks, Robert Johnson, Big Bill Broonzy....
