Biography
藤谷美和子 (Fujitani Miwako), born March 10th, 1964, is a Japanese actress. When she was 12-years-old, she was first into the show business when she did Karubi Potato Chip CM. In 1979, she appeared her first drama called "Yuuhi ga Oka no Souridaijin". She made her movie debut in 1980, appearing in "Keiji Chundouchuu". In 1994, she made her singing debut with the single, "Ai ga Umareta Hi". The single was a huge success with sales of 1.6 million copies. She is currently know as 岡村美和子 (Okamura Miwako) due to her getting married to Shunichi Okamura in December 2005.
