Maybe Moby's baldness influenced these thoughts, but this is how I'd imagine an alternate universe Ian MacKaye project to sound like had Fugazi/Pailhead signed to a major during the mid 90s. Moby even has the Ian MacKaye scream down pretty nicely as well. Great album by the way.

A very good Lp, one that grows on the listener after a few listens. Overall, 7.5/10.

Haha, honestly, it was about like starting with a blank canvas for me. My girlfriend at the time preferred food fairly bland and beigey. Were it not for some basil, a tube of anchovy paste, a cabinet of spices, and some banana peppers, it would have been a pretty poor milk-toast poverty-pie.

I have the UK version of Animal Rights. The US one is completely different. Which one is better?

I rarely hear even fulltime punk bands with the intensity of songs like Someone to Love, I still can't understand how this album did as badly as it did. Punk and ambient, what's not to love?

This is the first Moby album I listened to and bought... everything else since hasn't been able to match it.
