MofoIsDead are a 3-piece alt-rock band based in Brisbane Australia.
Created by Paul Galagher (vocals/guitars) with long time comrade Colonel John Slattery (bass/vocals), and joined by Queezy Beats on drums.
Only having performed a small amount of shows since forming in 2007, Paul claims to have spent a decent amount of time suffering from 'Axl syndrome' over the past 2 years. The band have independently recorded/produced their debut album 'Nubile' over 2 continents, which was released worldwide on iTunes in January 2010.
Their sound is often described as "a schizophrenic orgy of sonic debauchery" and they have been earning a reputation for their impressive live shows.
