The only song from Life is Strange that I'd actually heard prior to playing the game...and they couldn't have picked a more impactful scene to have it in.

My 4 y.o. daughter genuinely LOVES it; she always sits next to me and listens when I play it and often hums the tune when playing her games. (It should be noted that she does not like music in general and asks to turn off most of the stuff I play at home, be it pop, rock, or classical.) There must be something from beyond time and space that makes this song accessible even for such a small child.

This song is so bitter sweet and nostalgic. It makes me think of the exciting feeling of dressing up for halloween as a kid and going trick or treating. As the song ends I look back at some of those times with a sense of longing.

The guitar riff that comes in 2:12 takes a bit of the guitar solo from The Cure's "High," that's what people are thinking about. This is also the soundtrack to my son being born almost 6 weeks premature and gaining strength under the UV lamp at the NICU and then finally being brought home. There's no accounting for the title, however.
