Been on a another of my periodic trip hop kicks recently. Never checked out this album although of course the name Moloko had come up in my previous 90's trip hop adventures. It's dope! Fairly unique sound with Roisin Murphy's interesting vocals, and chill beats. Along with Archive, a great recent discovery well after the fact! Wonder how many other hidden gems await discovery

This album is quite silly/fun compared to most trip hop out there, so its a bit hard to find others to recommend. I guess, "Smiles Like A Shark" by Mulu, "Hi-fi Sounds for Young Norwegians" by Slowpho, "Mind the Gap" by Cath Coffey, and of course "Viva la Woman" by Cibo Matto.

I could not agree more. Next ones are far behind, just some beat and catchy tunes without anything peculiar.

Was gonna say the same re: Statues :) IANAD and TTMAD are kinda like further attempts at doing what they did with DYLMTS and pale in comparison. Statues, however, is something different and it makes all the difference as it's a cracking album.
