There are multiple artists under the name of "Momo".
1) Slovak rapper from Bratislava, Slovakia
2) The incarnation of artist Toni Castells (http://www.tonicastells.com/), who builds chillout electronica with layers of opera vocals, pop tunes and poetry, to the level of a grand film soundtrack. His albums are available on iTunes.
3) A Spanish instrumental band that performs flamenco style music with fast-paced guitar action.
4) A Moroccan-inspired band. Momo are a three piece band consisting of Lahcen Lahbib, Farid Nainia and Tahar El Edrissi, all Moroccans who arrived in London separately in the late 1980s. Momo have built a reputation as one of London's most exciting live acts and their first album The Birth Of Dar (Apartment 22) captures their potent mix of North African and electronic beats. 5) MoMo makes Brazilian experimental folk music. MoMo recorded this album in his bedroom using just one microphone. Some good friends played in this project that took three months to be finished. MoMo plays the craviola, a Brazilian 12 strings acoustic guitar, and the casiotone . There are no technical editions on this work, to make the songs sound natural and free. Most of the songs were composed in minor tune, MoMo's favorite harmony. Work influenced by Tim Buckleys Starsailor album and other folk composers, such as Nick Drake and Tim Hardin.
