monocoma* Release - The new sensation band from São Paulo has now recorded its first independent EP. It’s called Gringa Maria and believe me….it’s gonna blow your brains out!! Apart from getting the crew immerged in the studio the release will now allow more people to get to know this amazing rock band.
Dunds (vocal), Reislander (electric guitar), Rodra (Drums) and Gabriel (Bass) mix their rock n` roll influence with no ties to any particular pre-defined tribe, rhythm or label. The ultimate result here is a free-heavy song with no boundaries. A unique offer from the “monos”. From Afro roots of candomblé to a fictitious war between US and Brazil, throughout a heavy criticism to the mainstream Media till the love exploitation as a product. An awesome trip that reveals an obscure and hidden view of Brazil within the international scene, getting a darker appeal to the stereotyped Brazilian happy yellow and green.
