Motoo Fujiwara (藤原基央), born on April 12, 1979, is the leader, vocalist, composer and guitarist (as well as the illustrator and cover designer of some of their albums) of the j-rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN. His only solo project was the album "Songs for Tales of the Abyss" (published on March 22, 2006), which contains the main theme of the Namco-Bandai RPG for Playstation 2 "Tales of the Abyss", Karma (performed by BUMP OF CHICKEN), as well as several songs and instrumental versions used in the game's soundtrack.
