Claude Antoine Jean Georges Napoléon Coste (1805 - 1883) was a French guitarist and composer.
He studied guitar under the famous Fernando Sor in Paris. He is known for his vast catalogue of original guitar compositions and for being one of the pioneers who transcribed 17th century guitar works into modern musical notation.
