Biography
Nathaniel Moore is a composer and performer from the Denver area. He
has performed at clubs, outdoor festivals, state fairs, restaurants,
art galleries, and other performance spaces throughout the mid-west
and front range. In addition to solo performances, he has also played
with Jazz orchestras and combos, as well as in various musical theatre
shows. An active composer and performing musician who is always
seeking new and exciting opportunities, he has been composing and
performing music for over 10 years. Mr. Moore has written music for
several games which are available for purchase on the iTunes App
Store. In Addition he has been involved in many musical collaborations
which have resulted in several albums, and singles. Not only has he
written music for full orchestra, but he is also involved in many
other genre's including Jazz, Funk, and Fusion.
Mr. Nathaniel Moore has performed in various venues and jazz
ensembles including jazz orchestra, duets, and chamber ensembles. Mr.
Moore has been asked to perform in concert halls, music festivals,
jazz clubs, fine restaurants, state fairs, and art galleries
throughout the midwest and front range. He has also performed in genres
as varied as early renaissance to the most modern avant-garde jazz and
art music.
Nathaniel Moore started out a self-taught musician at the age of
15 and continued as such for many years. Having progressed remarkably
on the self-taught track, he then decided that he wanted to be trained
by music professionals and increase his already talented skills. Mr.
Moore has studied under multi instrumentalist Steven Hanson, and then
began to study music composition and music theory at Missouri Southern
State University. While at MSSU, Nathaniel also took an interest in
jazz guitar where he excelled. Mr. Moore has released 2 jazz albums
and many solo pieces. Upon his move to Colorado, he began a new study
and exploration of the Classical guitar. In addition, Mr. Moore has
begun composing for new media with several credits, including
composing original music and sound effects for the games "Tap Attack"
and "iSwirl" for Construct7 software. Nathaniel Moore continues to
increase his musical talent and composition skills at CU Boulder, CO.
