Came across this project yesterday as a result of an unrelated music search starting from black metal band Emperor. Who would have thought I'd end up listening to something as different from the original search query :) Still, I enjoy this a lot and Andrea's projects will no doubt rise high in my charts :)

I may have never stumbled over Nebelhexe, wouldn't I have listened to 90s techno, through which I met a friend, who listened just to black metal, with the exception of 90s techno, so I got from heavy to to black and death metal, met a fine young gal, that could have been my sister, who had a very clear vision of her life for that age, who introduced me to Hagalaz Runedance, (and Humpa). The cosmic plan has a strange sense of humour. But I like were chance can guide one. When I look back on the way my musical tastes went, I can just wonder. But then again, don't to they say, always keep wonderin'? Would I recommend Nebelhexe, well, I'd definitely recommend to listen to her, depending on your point in life, place, and time, it might be exactly what you're looking for. Without ever knowing you did.

Well, Norwegian is a Germanic language, hench why "Haugen" sounds so German-ish. :) And I wouldn't call her vocals annoying; strange and unique, rather. :)

@Demonice: She was married to the norwegian musician Tomas Thormodsæter Haugen, more commonly known as Samoth from the band Emperor, who indeed is norwegian. She was born Andrea Meyer, which clearly is a german name. Even though she kept the name after the divorce.

@radko: what the hell? Andrea's vocals are unlike anything I've ever heard... dark, brooding and androgynous, perfectly in line with the music she plays.

Want to share your experience or views about Wicca itself (both Gardnerian and Alexandrian), morality, afterlife, theology? http://www.last.fm/group/Wicca I'd like to make this group interesting and big - kind of a society of independent and, sometimes, solitary people who want to discuss some matters and meet other Wiccans. Blessed be.

I thought she was Norwegian also. I recall her dating Samoth from Emperor at one point in time, and also doing some backing vocals on Satyricon's Nemesis Divina (maybe on the first song? "The Dawn of a New Age")?
