Biography

Philadelphia’s No One’s Hero is one of the hardest working bands in punk rock today. Over the past 4 years, they’ve been able to maintain a heavy touring schedule in spite of an ever changing cast of characters. They’ve been releasing their own records since 2003, and in late 2004 Johnny Hero started PoorBoy Records, which the band currently operates out of their basement in the suburbs of Philadelphia. In addition to that, they are regularly active in political and social issues both local and worldwide. On top of it all, No One’s Hero has taken a stand against racism and prejudice, and strongly encourage others to stand up for what they believe in as well.

This high octane trio draws influence from bands like The Clash, The Bouncing Souls, Less Than Jake, early Green Day, and more. They are inspired by bands and musicians who have a larger part in the music industry than simply writing and performing music, and people take action to make a positive change in the world, and they base their own goals and ideas on these inspirations.
