Biography
Philipp Alexander Geitmann, known professionally as No Spirit, is a beatmaker hailing from Prague, Czech Republic. He started producing music when he was 16. Prior to his venture into beatmaking, he received classical piano training and gradually expanded his instrumental repertoire. Driven by an unwavering quest for fresh inspiration and innovative ideas, he started making electronic music and eventually lo-fi beats.
Notably, No Spirit's earliest presence on the music scene was marked by the upload of "Mogli X Two Lungs (No Spirit Remix)" to Soundcloud on April 8, 2018. Transitioning to wider platforms, his inaugural track on Spotify, titled "Better Now," featuring fika and RickyAtoms, made its debut on March 29, 2019.
No Spirit's career milestones include the release of his debut EP, "Reminiscing," on December 23, 2019. Comprising five distinct compositions, this EP marked a significant phase in his artistic evolution, coinciding with his signing with Chillhop Publishing.
The subsequent offering, the sophomore EP "Snacks," emerged on April 13, 2020, featuring an ensemble of five distinctive tracks that further solidified his creative presence.
A pivotal juncture in his discography materialized with the collaborative debut album "Stuck In Nostalgia," a joint effort with Kyle McEvoy and featuring the contributions of Josh Jacobson. This collaborative endeavor was released on June 26, 2020, under the banner of Sonder House.
Continuing his musical odyssey, the album "Late Nights" was unveiled on May 2, 2022. The creative impetus for this album was drawn from introspective moments following the summer of 2021, infused with reflections on cherished interactions with family and friends. This thematic narrative is encapsulated within the album's composition, serving as a testament to No Spirit's ability to encapsulate and convey poignant sentiments through his sonic artistry.
