Biography
There are two bands with the name Noctura:
Noctura (USA) was a female-fronted rock band. Working with esteemed producer Dan Certa (Seether, Kelly Clarkson, The Fray), Noctura released their full-length debut, Surrender the Sun, on June 21, 2011. The tracks "Don't Save Me" and "Fade" gained airplay in various radio markets, including heavy rotation on Indianapolis Clear Channel station WRZX-X103. The band split up in 2014.
Noctura (Germany) is an underground symphonic/neoclassical black metal band from Würzburg. Formed in 2012 under the name Matyr, the band renamed themselves to Noctura in 2014 and self-released their debut album Requiem in August 2016. The album was mixed by Charles Greywolf from Powerwolf.
