Push is the first release from Noel Miller (a.k.a. NOEL). Released on October 30, 2020, this EP was co-produced by Noel, along with fellow producer Spock. He also collaborated with friend Tom Ryan, who laid down guitar and bass lines, which can be heard throughout most of the project.
Taking on a more serious tone, this release has a stark contrast to previous musical efforts Noel has taken part in. Namely, his comedy rap duo Tiny Meat Gang with Cody Ko. General themes of Push include Noel's self-doubt and his strive to be better. The tracks "Crow" and "Bus Back" highlight these themes the most.
Push was made with some of Noel's father's old instruments. He said, "My father bought a set of instruments in the early 80s with the intention of making a music project. He never got a chance to make one. So I asked him if I could borrow the instruments for a week. This music was the result."
