Winston Norrish - Vocals, Guitar, Keys, Percussion
As a guitar player and singer, Winston Norrish was steeped in the hipper music of the 70s that blended so many diverse styles, like blues, jazz, Latin, R&B, folk, and country. Uninterested in the direction that much popular music took in the 80s, he turned on to some of the groundbreaking rock of the 60s, psychedelic rock, fusion and bluegrass, which left him totally unprepared for the grunge and punk revival that got so much traction in the 90s. When indie rock became mainstream and countless innovative bands popped up (recorded good records in their basements that were instantly published to the world on that new internet thing), Winston embraced the ever expanding diversity of popular music. Is it possible to be influenced by so many styles? Maybe, but at least it created in Norrish a very diverse (if not fickle) spectrum of musical interest. And over the years, Norrish has covered most of those musical styles, both as a solo acoustic act, and as guitar and vocal support and front man for a wide variety of cover bands. The axiom “you have your whole life to write your first album” certainly applies to Norrish’s first writing and recording effort, the self-titled “Norrish Reaction”. Blending elements of his early influences with more contemporary and alternative styles, Norrish has created his own sound.

Robert Lupton - Drums, Percussion, Keys

Lupton has enjoyed an extensive career as a drummer musician providing drumbeats, drum tracks and drumming performances that include appearances with Colorado bands such as JAB, FBI, Witch Asylum, Boyz with Big Toyz, Petti Bourgeois, Rare Moment Show Band, and many other bands that were awesome but never made it past the garage! He has worked with Todd Park Mohr in the Atlantics, pre-Big Head and the Monsters. Lupton hit the 2000 gig mark just in his high school years gigging with regional touring bands and playing ten shows a day every summer at the Elitich Gardens Theme park (Six Flags).

In and after college, Lupton had the opportunity to play jazz, big band, jazz fusion, and classical music including the Guy Lombardo Band, Arthur Duncan, the Almost to Big Jazz Band, even Jacques Brel musicals. More recently, he played with the Dave Rawlinson country rock band and Rusted Souls rock band. Now Lupton has returned to his roots and first love: Rock Drumming!

The Norrish Reaction band has a Seattle inspired, alternative rock sound which demands strong drumming. The songs are sometimes powerful and other times warm, but always desiring a big drum rhythm! Over the 40 plus years while traveling and working, Lupton have remained true to his creative passion – music. Lupton has stated that he will go to his grave playing music for others to enjoy!

Caspar van Haalen - Bass
As a drummer gone bass player, Caspar van Haalen always been intrigued by the thumping backbone of various music styles. Having played different kinds of music in many different bands, Caspar can look back on a plethora of interesting experiences, most of which he would like to embark on again in a drum (or bass) beat! He currently lives in Seattle but is from the Netherlands.
