Nutrition on Tape (Matt Howley, Australian) is a solo electronic producer/artist.
While the name 'Nutrition on Tape' is intended to evoke a kind of self-hypnosis diet audiobook, the recorded music blends aspects of IDM, electronica, indie rock and trip-hop styles.
Hardware sampling is used extensively to build songs from sounds which are short in duration. Key ingredients include drum machines, melodic stabs, sliced guitars, and chopped vocals.
Queen Bee EP (June 2009) was Nutrition on Tape's first independent release.
