    10 tracks

Physically released in the US on January 15, 2008; the full length album Falling to be Held is Open Chapter’s world debut. Recording began at the former Rhapsody Street Studios in San Antonio, Texas on April 20, 2006 until the end of that year under the direction of studio owner Ken Branca. Open Chapter recorded the whole album from memory with no written lyrics or music. All song are in the same key except one as an inside band joke. The album was originally meant to have 11 songs on it but due to band drama, showing up late, equipment failure and mutiny only ten songs were ever finished for the release. The title track is missing from the album. Scandalous parties, sex, rowdy gigs, booze, drugs, PS2, poker, HBO’s Entourage, MTV, and myspace hookups influenced Falling to be Held’s progress and flavor from day one. Falling to be Held required 140 hours in the studio to produce on a Focusrite Control 24 plus 85 additional hours for Craig Sadler to remix and master in Austin, Texas on a SSL AWS900 due to Rhapsody Street Studio’s eventual closure. The album’s master was stolen once by the band and almost lost in the San Antonio River another time after being taken hostage by then furious Ken Branca. The album is a real miracle but now no one wants to speak to each other and at least three husbands are out to kill the hiding band. Regardless, the album has received unbelievable reviews and the fans discovering it everyday are screaming loud for more. If you ask the executive producers, “Why did they finish it?” They will tell you, “We did it all for Love. We love the band and this music had to be heard outside of Grandma’s garage. The album is immortal now and no matter what happens to these guys we will always have the music left.”
