Powerful and surprisingly moving. Amazing blend of electronic music with haunting vocals from Origa and Ben Del Maestro. Fantastic song. One of Yoko Kanno's best, which is saying something. The piano version she played during the 2020 online Tanabata festival was a beautiful homage to Origa.

It's weird, but this song makes me think more of Oracle from the Birds of Prey comic than Ghost In The Shell.

I recently read a review of this song somewhere that said listening to it is akin to a spiritual experience. I could not agree more. The interplay between the three languages, and Origa and Benedict's voices, coupled with the pulsing electronics and the techno-ish drums... If this song doesn't make you feel *something*; if it doesn't tug at you... then maybe you should reflect on your own humanity.

Love this song. What an amazing singer! Although it annoys me that I don't understand what she is singing about

Dont forget to notice Benedict Del Maestro, a boy who sings the soprano parts like " Naljubiutes, Naljubiutes, Aeria Gloris" and other of those other angelic parts of the song!! He is also an amazing artist ( his voice is an art)

@WitlessDave: Nice. @topic: Can anyone show me another song that makes me want to learn Latin and Russian? No? Thought so. :)

I love this track. It fits so perfectly as the theme song to Ghost in the Shell as well. On the one hand, we have the pulsating electronic sounds that represent the advanced technology featured in the show, and on the other hand, we have Origa's vocal performance that just nails the idea that the show is ultimately about what makes us human. Damn near spiritual, if you ask me.

She has a godly voice. It doesn't matter what language you sing in when you're capable of sounding like that.

Best opening to the best anime series there is. Just recently I watched "Ghost In The Shell 2.0" and now I feel compelled to watch everything again :)

This may sound a bit crazy, but - is there on any soundtrack or anywhere else the full version of Inner Universe in the mix used in the GITS:SAC opening? I mean, when you listen to the intro of SAC, the part when the beat comes in (I am calling, calling now...) has louder bass sounds and more pronounced beat pattern. Wondering how would the full version sound like that...
